Lavender Lúnasa Bar.
We paired our Ecuador, Hacienda Limon chocolate with the lavender that grows next to our chocolate factory. We harvest the lavender late in the summer month of August. We wait for it to dry and then rest the lavender in the Ecuador chocolate. After a time, we then sieve off the lavender to make a soothing aromatic bar. Lunasa is Irish for the month of August and also marks the beginning of harvest season.
Tasting Notes: chocolate biscuits, floral and cream
Ingredients: 60% cacao beans, unrefined cane sugar, cocoa butter, real lavender. (cocoa solids 60% minimum)
